1. Introduction

By using our hosting services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes. Customers will be notified of changes via email.

2. Account & Service Usage

  • You must be at least 18 years old to sign up for our services.
  • All hosted content must comply with UK law. Illegal, abusive, or infringing content is prohibited.
  • Accounts with invoices overdue by 30 days will be automatically terminated.
  • Any account engaging in abuse, illegal activity, or violation of UK law will be terminated without refund.

3. Payments & Refunds

  • Accepted payment methods: PayPal and credit/debit cards.
  • We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for first-time customers on their first service purchase. This does not apply to domain registrations or web design services.
  • Data loss may occur upon termination of services. If a backup is available, we may provide it for a £30 administrative fee.
  • Unpaid invoices will result in service suspension at midnight following the due date. Services not paid within 30 days will be terminated.
  • No setup fees, late fees, or cancellation fees apply.

4. Uptime & Liability

  • We provide a 99.9% uptime guarantee. If uptime falls below 99.9%, a prorated refund in account credit will be processed upon request. This is not automatic; customers must open a ticket with our billing team to claim a refund.
  • Uptime is calculated based on our monitoring software only; third-party monitoring software will not be accepted as proof of uptime.
  • The uptime guarantee is measured over a rolling 30-day period, ensuring fairness across different billing cycles.
  • We are not liable for any loss of data, security breaches, or hacking incidents affecting our services or customer websites.
  • We take all reasonable measures to secure data, but ultimate responsibility for backups and security rests with the customer.
  • Termination will result in the deletion of client website/data. If a backup is available, we may provide it for a £30 administrative fee.

5. Support & Responsibilities

  • Support is provided via email, ticket system, and live chat. The email/ticket system is available 24/7, 365 days a year. Live chat is available for sales and support when resources allow.
  • We provide full support for server operations, control panel functionality, and web service performance.
  • For Managed WordPress Web Hosting, we offer high-level support to the best of our ability; however, we cannot guarantee support for third-party software (e.g., WordPress plugins, themes, and software bugs).
  • Different services have different backup schedules, as outlined in their respective plans. Customers are ultimately responsible for their own backups.

6. Cancellations & Termination

  • Customers may request cancellation via the client area.
  • Immediate cancellations will be processed within 24 hours. Cancellation at the end of the billing cycle will take effect upon the cycle's completion.
  • We reserve the right to terminate services for any reason. If termination is not due to a policy violation, customers will be given notice and a prorated refund. Policy violations result in immediate termination with no refund.

7. Privacy & Data Protection

  • We collect and store customer-provided data to fulfill our services.
  • We comply with GDPR regulations.
  • We may log activities within the client area and monitor website traffic and storage usage for security and compliance purposes.

8. Fair Usage Policy

Some of our hosting plans include unlimited features such as websites, bandwidth, and email accounts. These are subject to fair usage:

  • While no strict limit is enforced, excessive usage that negatively impacts server performance or is deemed unreasonable (e.g., using 50TB of bandwidth on a low-cost plan) may result in restrictions.
  • We reserve the right to review and take appropriate action on accounts exceeding reasonable usage levels, including limiting resources, requesting an upgrade, or suspending the service.

9. Changes to These Terms

  • We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time.
  • Customers will be notified of changes via email.
  • Continued use of our services after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
